Deleting your data

Updated 29 July 2026

When you leave, you leave clean. This page covers how to delete your Pascoe account and everything it holds — and exactly what that includes.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest route: open Settings, then Delete account. That removes everything in one go — no email required, no waiting on us.

Or ask us by email

If you would rather ask, or you can no longer sign in, write to privacy@pascoe.ai from the email address on your account, with a subject like “Delete my Pascoe account”. Sending from your account email is how we verify it is you; if you cannot use that address, tell us and we will find another way to check. We will confirm when it is done — within a month at the outside, usually much sooner. It is free, and you do not need to give a reason.

If you want a copy of anything first — your voice profile, your drafts — say so in the same email and we will send it before we delete.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account erases everything Pascoe holds about you:

  • Your voice profile — identity, rules, banned words, signature moves, and the never-mention list.
  • Every calibration note from your picks and rejections.
  • All your ideas, research briefs, drafts and attached images.
  • The mirrored copies of your LinkedIn posts and their images, plus your remembered profile address.
  • Your plan and usage records in our database.
  • Your Clerk account — email, name and sign-in.
  • Your LinkedIn connection at Composio, so Pascoe can no longer post for you.

The last two live with our providers rather than in our database. If either provider is briefly unreachable when you delete, the app tells you and we finish the job manually — write to us if anything seems to linger.

Deletion is permanent. There is no recycle bin and no way back — which is the point.

What deletion cannot reach

Three honest caveats:

  • Posts you published on LinkedIn stay on LinkedIn — we remove our mirrored copies, but the originals are yours to manage from your LinkedIn account.
  • Copies in short-lived database backups fall away automatically as those backups expire — they are never used to restore deleted accounts.
  • Billing records stay for as long as UK law requires us to keep them.

Just want to disconnect LinkedIn?

You do not have to delete your account to cut Pascoe off from LinkedIn. Open Settings, then Disconnect under the LinkedIn section — that removes the connection at Composio, and posting from Pascoe is off until you connect again. You can also revoke Pascoe’s access from LinkedIn’s own settings under permitted services.

If something goes wrong

If a deletion does not go the way you expected, reply to our confirmation or write to privacy@pascoe.ai and we will put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), the UK’s data protection authority.
